Disney+ just dropped The Simpsons: The Good, the Bart, and the Loki, an original short for subscribers of its streaming platform that will see Springfield’s most famous family invade the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Following little Maggie in The Force Awakens from Its Nap, this new The Simpsons crossover leaves the world of Star Wars to take us on a hilarious trip that will even shock the God of Mischief himself. And one thing’s for sure, with Bart along for the ride, laughter is guaranteed.

What is The Simpsons: The Good, the Bart, and the Loki about?

Featuring a promotional poster in which The Simpsons parody the great Avengers: Endgame, the new short begins with Loki being exiled from Asgard once again. Little does this charismatic villain know that in Springfield he’ll meet his match, someone who’s just as much of a trickster as he is: Bart Simpson. Joining forces with him, the God of Mischief will have to take on one of the most powerful (and hilarious) heroes imaginable. You’ll love the fun references to the MCU universe, such as Lisa as Thor, Bart embodying Iron Man, or Skinner’s mom as Black Widow.

Like all good parodies, The Simpsons: The Good, the Bart, and the Loki is a true gift for fans of Matt Groening’s classic animated series and the Marvel universe. It stars Tom Hiddleston voicing Loki, and despite being just about four minutes long (six if you count the credits at the end), it manages to combine the spirit of both franchises. So, Disney+ will put a smile on subscribers’ faces once again with an unprecedented crossover.
