The first film in the saga grossed nearly $3 billion and took more than 10 years to shoot, as James Cameron claimed there was not enough advanced technology when he started the project to make it.

And if for the first film we waited almost 20 years, for the second one it has been a little more than 10 years. The idea is that the following ones will arrive throughout this decade.

Avatar 2 arrives on Disney+ on June 7, 2023.

Today we can announce, with great joy, that Avatar 2: The Way of Water has arrived on Disney+ worldwide. And the good thing is that the movie has been released via streaming with the best possible quality standard: 4K and with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos technology.

If you want to check if it is already available on your TV, just go to Disney+ and click on the movie, which is on the front page of the service right now, and no wonder, it is the big premiere of the month for the Mickey Mouse company.

What is Avatar 2: The Way of Water about?

Jake Sully and Ney’tiri have formed a family and are doing their best to stay together. However, they must leave their home and explore the regions of Pandora. When an ancient threat resurfaces, Jake must wage a difficult war against the humans.

The film moves from the great jungle and skies full of floating islands to the aquatic world. And the truth is that it is impressive from a technical and visual point of view. It is worth watching it in good quality, you will enjoy it.
